Looking For Motoring Solicitors?
Welcome to Motoring Barrister Direct...

Here at Motoring Barrister Direct we are a barrister owned law firm who represent clients across the country. Our founding partner is a barrister who was called to the Bar in 1996 having obtained a first class honours degree as well as being joint winner for best performance out of 1500 students in advocacy during his barrister training course at the Inns of Court School of Law.

Being keen to bring efficiency and keen pricing combined with advocacy expertise to the legal services market, the firm was the first ever in the country to be fully authorised by the Bar Standards Board and so be licensed to provide legal services.

In terms of pricing, fees are usually calculated on a fixed fee basis with examples of some of our usual fees being:
Totting up/12 Points/mitigation in writing (Guilty Plea) (drafted by a barrister on your behalf): £700 - a barrister will prepare a bundle and full written submissions for you to present at court
Totting Up/12 Points/mitigation Hearing (Guilty Plea): £1100 to £1350 - this is for full barrister representation at your listed hearing
No Insurance Hearing (Guilty Plea - special reasons): £1500 - this includes all preparation up to and including barrister representation at the first hearing
Motoring Trial, Not Guilty Plea (Listed 1/2 Day): £1500
Motoring Trial, Not Guilty Plea (Full Day): £1950

Please note that no additional VAT is to be added to these fees and they are indicative only - they include legal preparation, advice and representation (where indicated that this is included) but do not include the cost of any experts. It is always worth talking to us to discuss our fees. The fixed fee can be affected by the relative complexity or simplicity of your case. If a case does not go ahead on the day in question then we would need to agree an additional fee for the future re-listed hearing and this fee will depend upon the additional work/attendance required.

We look forward to hearing from you in relation to your motoring matter.
